Okay, so this morning I go to fire up my game because I haven't played in a few weeks. It loaded just fine... albeit slower than normal, but fine nonetheless. Then I click on Riverblossom Hills where I've been playing four generations of an entire family, not legacy-style but more of my own thing, which is clan-style., meaning I marry off all family members and they all have their own children. As soon as Riverblossom finishes loading... HORROR! Everything looks broken and messed up and the colors are off and there are dots and shapes all over the screen. *cries*
I should mention, if this has any bearing whatsoever, that I recently deleted some premade neighborhoods. All of the ones that came with the basegame except for Strangetown, and the ones that came with Freetime and Apartment Life. My fourth generation is currently at 18 sims right now (all in different households and lots of course) so I thought getting rid of the neighborhoods I don't play might free up space and allow the game to load faster. I'm thinking I'll have to back-up my game files and uninstall the entire thing then reinstall.
What do you guys think?
