So you know how water got spilt on my laptop? Well, ITS DEAD!!!! D= I kept hoping it would work again but it's fried. Apparently when my dad plugged it there was still some water left inside and it blew up. Completely killed the thing. And none of it is salvageable, that means all of my stuff is gone every document, picture, file, completely gone. Do you know what that means? NO SIMS!!!! No Eagers, no anything. =( It's all gone.... I can only get on the internet from my phone too, so I can't even read your stories and mourn properly. I am terribly sorry to those of you that actually enjoyed my legacy, you guys made my day. Again and again and again. =P This sucks. =( Luv you all!!

Hello, all. So I finally got my new laptop today and I've been having a few complications... I'm trying to install Sims 2 along with its expansion packs on to this laptop, but it doesn't seem to be working. I'm currently trying to install the 2nd disc of Sims 2, and it's loading fine, and all.. but the load bar just stops loading at 49%. It hasn't moved for quite some time, and I've tried to reinstall it a few more times, but nothing seems to work. I even tried restarting the laptop and still.. nothing. If this is relevant to the topic, it does say that the current file it's downloading is "TSData\Res\Sound\Pop.package".
This laptop does have Windows 7, so I was wondering if that has anything to do with this issue? Is it not compatible with Sims 2? For any of you who have Windows 7, does Sims work for you? I'm so confused right now >.<

I'm a little bit late in the day, but I just wanted to wish you all a safe and Merry Christmas/Happy Holidays! I'm getting a new laptop tomorrow (yay for boxing day sales!), and I'm probably going to transfer the Epidemics on to that laptop, so hooray for better game/graphics quality! I hope you all hare having a wonderful Christmas and if I don't get the chance to say it in advance, I'd also like to wish you all a safe and happy New Year! :D
